"Treatment of the week - Essenza Diamond Facial. They say diamonds are a girl's best friend - but it seems they're even better when used on your skin. This facial uses diamond dust to make your skin luminous and sparkling. It started out the old-fashioned way, with a good old steam clean. The blast of hot vapours on my skin quickly opened up the pores and I could really feel it getting to work. Bizarrely, it was a nice sensation and the cleaning effects felt even better. After the steam clean the therapist had a good look at my pores, removing any blockages and eeking out any 'debris' in my skin. Cleansed and feeling virtuous, next came the bling part - the diamond dust. This is the remnants left on what can only be described as the cutting room floor, where diamonds are shaped. It has a very soft feel on your skin and is not like some grainy exfoliaters, which can feel very rough. The facial - which lasted a glorious one hour and fifteen minutes - was finished off with warm Rosa Mosqueta oil to plump up my skin. When I left my face felt incredibly soft and revitalised. A cut above the rest."
